Who is HETAS?

HETAS (the industry's version of Corgi (now Gas Safe) is the organisation recognised by the Government to approve the safe installation and servicing of solid fuel, multi-fuel stoves and wood burners, including the registration of component installers. HETAS established the Approved Installation Certificate in 2011 so that anyone wishing to purchase a stove could be directed to installers who meet the high standards for service quality - including expert safety advice.

What are a HETAS Approved Retailer and Installer?

HETAS approved installers are the only people who can certify that the installation conforms to building regulations and issue the appropriate compliance certificate for your stove’s installation. This certificate will be required when in the future you come to sell your house or present an insurance claim. As a HETAS Approved Installer and Retailer, Marc Jones & Co has undergone and completed all the required HETAS training courses. Therefore, this ensures that he can provide the appropriate advice, recommending the correct size of stove for your room and endorsing your new stove's safe installation, operation and maintenance. This guarantees that your stove is fitted to the approved Government standards.
